Whitney Houston was the epitome of superstar, an “American Princess”, the most awarded female artist ever. Even though Whitney had made millions of dollars, had more consecutive number ones than The Beatles, and became recognized as having one of the greatest voice of all time, she still wasn’t free to be herself and died at just 48 years old. Nick Broomfield is a British film-maker best known for his award-winning documentaries. His previous work includes Tales of the Grim Sleeper, AileenWuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer, and The Leader, His Driver and the Driver's Wife. His film Battle for Haditha dramatised the Haditha massacres in Iraq.
Filmmaker Rudi Dolezal is a legend on the international music documentary scene, having spent 25 years working with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Queen, Miles Davis, David Bowie, U2, Billy Joel and Sting. He has received numerous international awards, including two Grammy nominations, and is a serving Governor of The Recording Academy.
