This year at Sundance London, our stellar line-up features three UK premieres.
Apollo 11 gathers never seen before 65mm footage to document the awe-inspiring trip that first put man on the moon. Just in time for the 50th anniversary of the flight, the film captures the emotion felt in those fateful hours that saw history in the making.
Back down on Earth, The Brink is a documentary that follows Donald Trump’s former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon as he struggles through the 2018 mid-term elections, revealing his controversial far-right views and strategies to unite far right powers in Europe.
Another controversial organisation features in Hail Satan? - The Satanic Temple. The film documents the Temple’s rise throughout America, incorporating their determination and irrevocable sense of humour, the group strives to demonstrate social and political injustice to the powers that be.
All three films will be hitting screens at Sundance London on 30 May – 2 June. Tickets are on sale now for festival pass holders, Friday 19 April for Picturehouse Members and Tuesday 23 April for the general public.
