BIFA nominations for 3 Dogwoof documentaries

The nominations for the British Independent Film Awards were announced this morning with The Confession, Dancer and Versus: The Life and Films of Ken Loach receiving nominations for Best Documentary! Versus director Louise Osmond took home the same award at the 2015 awards for her film Dark Horse. The award winners will be announced at the BIFA ceremony in London on 4 December - best of luck to all nominees!

The Confession

Moazzam Begg has experienced a generation of conflict. This is his first-hand account, a chronicle of the rise of modern jihad, its descent into terror and the disastrous reaction of the West.

Versus: The Life and Films of Ken Loach

A funny, provocative and revealing account of the life and career of one of Britain’s foremost filmmakers, Ken Loach, as he turns eighty and looks back at over fifty years of filmmaking.
