After its premiere at Venice Film Festival 2024 Kevin Macdonald’s One to One: John & Yoko made its Sundance debut in Park City, Utah. A unique take on a seminal time in the lives of one of music’s most famous couples, the film explores the eighteen months John Lennon and Yoko Ono spent living in Greenwich Village in the early 1970s.

MARLEE MATLIN: NOT ALONE ANYMORE

Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore opened the US Documentary Competition at the festival. In 1987, Marlee Matlin became the first Deaf actor to win an Academy Award and was thrust into the spotlight at 21 years old. Reflecting on her life in her primary language of American Sign Language, Marlee explores the complexities of what it means to be a trailblazer.

2000 Meters to Andriivka had its world premiere in the World Documentary Competition. It’s the second feature film from the Oscar®-winning team behind 20 Days In Mariupol — Ukrainian filmmaker and Pulitzer Prize-winning AP journalist Mstyslav Chernov, producer and editor Michelle Mizner and producer Raney Aronson-Rath.
