Sheffield Doc/Fest 2022: It's a Wrap!

Sheffield Doc/Fest has now come to an end after a several days of interviews, Q&A screenings and standing ovations. Retrace all the highlights and best moments of the festival, and let’s take a look at what the Dogwoof team has been up to during the past few weeks in Sheffield:


THE TERRITORY UK PREMIERE
Our upcoming title The Territory received a standing ovation from the audience at its UK Premiere + Q&A.


MCENROE UK PREMIERE
Take a glimpse at the McEnroe UK premiere + Q&A with director Barney Douglas. Missed out? Don’t panic, McEnroe is out in cinemas 15 July!

MIDWIVES UK PREMIERE

The beautiful Midwives, documenting the struggles, hopes and dreams of two midwives working side by side amidst an environment of ever-increasing chaos and violence had its UK premiere at Sheffield too!

And Tim Hetherington Award goes to…

Last but not least, the Tim Hetherington Award, in honour of Tim Hetherington’s memory and sponsored by Dogwoof, went to Lyra! Congratulations to Alison Millar and the Lyra team. Let’s celebrate with a few pictures from the night, including Judith, Tim’s mum, who joined for the occasion.
