Our lineup at this year’s BFI London Film Festival are distinctively feminine in flavour this year with both films looking at extraordinary women.
The first, Bad Reputation, tells the story of the visionary punk rocker Joan Jett, tracing her rise to fame and her struggles with misogyny in the world of rock and roll.
Women Make Film: A New Road Movie Through Cinema looks at the important role that women played in the development of cinema.
The festival runs from 10-21 October and includes 225 features from a total of 77 countries.
