As 2018 comes to a close we look at our highlights of the year.
ANNA GODAS
“Seeing everyone dressed up as a different Dogwoof character has to be my highlight of the year. Everyone put in a huge amount of effort into their costumes and the results were astounding!”
Marcel Karst
“The acquisition, campaign and release of Three Identical Strangers. A surprise hit, achieved on a relatively low budget. Great team work!”
Oli harbottle
“2018 ended on a fantastic high, but my highlight was the Free Solo premiere at BFI Southbank which was beamed to 99 additional sold-out cinemas nationwide. This huge success was very much the result of fantastic teamwork, both within Dogwoof but also with all our various partners on the release. The fact that the film has become our highest grossing title to-date is just the cherry on top!”
CLEO VEGER
“My highlight of the year would be IDFA, I had the opportunity to help out this year at the IDFA forum as a matchmaker and I really loved it. IDFA is a highlight each year to see our amazing filmmakers.”
ANA VICENTE
“My highlight was the world premiere of the first four hours of Mark Cousins' 16-hour project Women Make Film: A New Road Movie Through Cinema in Venice. The sun was shining and it was a pleasure to work with Mark and Team PR again.”
Dorottya Székely
“My highlight of the year was to see the marketing team growing and evolving with inspirational professionals. This was my best year at Dogwoof working with Rupi, Chloe, Mike and our hard-working interns to deliver truly amazing promotional campaigns for our films.”
Luke brawley
“Minding The Gap skate party and screening at IDFA!”
Lucy Stevens
“My highlight was returning to the Dogwoof team this year after finishing up my degree. Everyone has been extremely welcoming and it's great to be back- bring on 2019!”
Yung Kha
“Working with Victoria Miro Gallery for the launch of Kusama - Infinity and being able to experience her new mirror room within hours of its installation. A treat and a privilege to have insight into the wonderful world of Yayoi Kusama”
Konstantinos Papageorgiou
My highlight of the year has to be the MATANGI / MAYA / M.I.A. premiere in Berlinale. The Kino International theatre was sold out and watching the film with a passionate crowd of festival goers and M.I.A. fans was a treat.”
