The nominations for this year’s Cinema Eye Honors for Nonfiction Filmmaking were announced on Friday in Los Angeles. The Cinema Eye Honours pride themselves on being the only international nonfiction award to recognize the whole creative team (and not just the director). Awards are presenteed for directing, producing, cinematography, editing, composing and graphic design/animation. We're thrilled to have some Dogwoof titles appearing in this highly competitive list. Marina Abramović The Artist is Present has been nominated in 3 categories, Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Feature Filmmaking, Audience Choice Prize and Outstanding Achievement in a Debut Feature Film. Big Boys Gone Bananas!* is up for Outstanding Achievement in Production, and Planet of Snail has been nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Direction.
