With the release of our new glamorous film, THE FIRST MONDAY IN MAY coming out 30 September, we take a look at the most prestige and artistic visionaries featured in this high fashion film. The First Monday in May follows the creation of The Metropolitan Museum of Art's most attended fashion exhibition in history, "China: Through The Looking Glass," an exploration of Chinese-inspired Western fashions by Costume Institute curator Andrew Bolton.

Andrew Bolton
British Museum curator of the Metropolitan museum of art's costume Institute in New York. Andrew Created the iconic exhibition Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty for the remembrance of Alexander McQueen's fashion after his death. After the turn out of the successful exhibition, Andrew went on to curate his second exhibition 'China Through the Looking Glass' which is the start up for this film, The First Monday In May.
Anna Wintour
Recognised the world over for her signature bob and sunglasses, Wintour is the ultimate fashion icon. She is the acting Editor-in-chief of Vogue and the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute complex was named after her in January 2014. She is the chair of the Met Gala which is held every year to mark the opening of the costume exhibit and can be seen meticulously looking after all the details of the night.

Wong Kar-Wai
The Chinese director is known for his stylized, emotionally resonant films. His award-winning films include the iconic In the Mood for Love, 20146 and The Grandmaster. For the 2015 costume exhibition he acted as the Exhibition Artistic Director.
Baz Luhrmann
Award-winning Australian writer and director known for renowned films like Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge and The Great Gatsby. Baz is close friends with Anna Wintour and serves as the creative consultant for the Met Gala.
Karl Lagerfeld
The German Head fashion designer who is currently the head designer and creative director for Chanel, Fendi and his own fashion label. In The First Monday in May he offers his unique insight into the debate of whether fashion can ever be considered as art and his personal view on his work.
Jean Paul Gaultier
French fashion designer who was the creative director of Hermès for 7 years. His designs went off to be a trade mark for Madonna's stage costume, the infamous cone bra. He offers unique insight in The First Monday in May and we also get to follow him as he first experiences the final exhibit and impresses us with his knowledge of the work featured.
John Galliano
A British Fashion designer who was the head designer for french fashion brands such as Givency and Christian Dior. A video of Galliano later broke out in 2011, showing him making anti-semitic remarks to tourists. This hit the headlines and Dior later permanently dismissed Galliano.
