Yorkshire audiences will have the first opportunity to see this new documentary. Directed by award-winning documentary director Daisy Asquith from Leeds, with a soundtrack from cult musician Bill Nelson, who blends electro, samples, sound effects and ambient noise to create collages of beautiful dreamy music. Commissioned by Sheffield Docfest as part of the Tour De Cinema programme for Yorkshire Festival 2014 with support from Arts Council England, Yorkshire Water, Welcome to Yorkshire and Yorkshire Local Authorities.
Daisy Asquith has made over 20 documentaries for British television winning her a Grierson, two RTS awards and a Bafta nomination. She is currently working on her first feature, a Storyville film about tracing her own family on the West coast of Ireland after her mother's secret birth and adoption. Daisy recently made 'Velorama' for Docfest and is also working on a PhD about the furious response of the One Direction fandom to her recent Channel 4 documentary 'Crazy About One Direction’.
